Welcome to Holy Name!
Holy Name is a Catholic parish serving the people of Wahroonga and neighbouring suburbs. We welcome all people to come along to our events and activites, especially the celebration of the Mass, regardless of your religious affiliation and background.
Take some time to look around our website - if you are interested in joining the parish, read some more about us, or come along and join us on Sundays. There is also information covering the Sacraments of Initiation program, welcoming children into the Church, and help for anyone preparing for marriage. You can also find the serving rosters, as well as those for the music teams, and contact information if you'd like to get involved with any part of our parish life.
Spiritual Thought for the Week
Becoming aware of our debt of love to others: It is a fact that people are always well aware of what is due to them. Unfortunately, they remain oblivious of what they owe to others. – St. Francis de Sales

Funerals/School Masses
We have had complaints from our neighbours in Plymouth Close about parishioners parking across their driveways, thus parking them in. They have requested that parishioners please do not park in the close, especially on a Friday when the bins need to be emptied as the garbage trucks cannot access the close to empty the bins. Please be considerate of the residents in the area and rather make use of the parking at the back of the Church. Thank you.
Organists and Pianists
We need you! Due to a distinct lack of organists and pianists at the moment - especially at the Vigil Mass a call this weekend to anyone “out there” who can play the organ at this Mass. Please contact myself or the office. Fr. Steve
R.C.I.A.
We have seven candidates who will be continuing their journey of faith in the Catholic tradition. Please let us be prayerfully supportive of them during these next 6 months. On Holy Saturday night at the Easter Vigil Mass each will be received into the Catholic Church. It is a very humbling experience and honour to be a part of these 7 peoples’ spiritual lives. Candy Cosgriff, who “converted” five years ago, will be the RCIA Co-ordinator.
